JUSTICE FOR THE FREIGHTLINER FIVE: International Day of Action, May 9
Five fired UAW 3520 union leaders of the Freightliner plant in Cleveland, North Carolina are fighting to get their jobs back. They will be having an international day of action on Friday May 9 around the world to demand that Freightliner and the German multi-national Daimler rehire these workers. They were fired over one year ago for going on strike over health and safety issues and other conditions and benefits. This international campaign will also have an action in the bay area.
