American Atheists rise up! Take the fight to the religious right before it is to late. Start a bumper sticker campaign that features a christian cross cancelled out (like a no smoking sign.) Also print t-shirts with the same symbol, wear them everywhere!
As a campaign it is simple, cheap, and effective.
The book burners must be stopped. Their sick desire to see their armegeddon fantasy become a self fulfilling prophecy must be thwarted.
The American youth must be alerted to the very real danger that if they do not bring out their vote in vast numbers, to oppose the meddling of the evangelicals in politics, they, the youth of voting age, will be the biggest losers. The freedoms they take for granted will be taken away from them.
There is a conspiracy to steal the upcoming election and install what will be a de facto theocracy in washington. Vote to keep state and church separate.

I don't think many will argue in favour of religion on these boards, but voting isn't valued much among the (mainly) anarchists and left communists here, Peter - nor is the state, whether or not it's 'separate' from religion. What/who do you recommend voting for?

i liked peterG sad

i mean fair does imvho most communist theory is, well it's not in as bad a shape as it could be. but, there's a massive gap imo for a strong atheist theory.

not that [s]he should expect anarchists to go for his [PeterG's] scheme mind.

Do fundamentalist women everywhere wear ankle length denim skirts, or is that a southern US thing?

I don't see how putting anti-christian bumper stickers on our cars will create a counter-hegemony.

Bad Religion never did it.
