In particular the 1in12 Club. Run by an Anarchist collective for over 25 years it has four floors of a converted warehouse.

After a number of months of apparen quiet, the mexican government and the murderous governor of Oaxaca, Ulises Ruiz, would have liked nothing better than we forgot about our comrades and their struggle. But we can not forget the political prisoners, the constant harrasment of communities and the murders that death squads have committed and even now continue to carry out.

All the stall holders enjoyed the book fair. Lots of new contacts and pledges of support for future ventures.

The evening social was held in the club bar. Good to gaze out across Bradford's cityscape as it mellowed into an orange sunset glistening on its mosques, bus stations and the new leisure complex building site.

Some of the nicer comrades out there may want to take note of the Bradford final line-up call on the announcement thread.

There is a big Armed Forces Mercenary Recruitment Exercise in Albert Square the next 2 or 3 days - 9th/10th May at least. Might be worth paying a visit - not to join up of course!!

Details of March: The now annual Manchester May Day celebration has been expanded to include debate, discussion, and education.

The relaunched Manchester Anarchist Bookfair will take place from 11.00am until 5.00pm on Saturday 7th June 2008 at Jabez Clegg, 2 Portsmouth Street, off Dover Street, off Oxford Road (opposite the Manchester University Student Union), M13 9GB.
There will be stalls, meetings and vegan food plus a bar downstairs.
