I have received an e-mail from an ex-student of mine who is CHinese. She's working in Stoke-on-Trent in a Chinese restaurant and they're getting a lot of hassle from local people: chucking their drink on the floor, smearing food across the windows, nicking money off them etc. Have you got any members around Stoke-on-Trent who might be willing to go and "chat" with the Nazis?

the problem with attacks that you've just described is that i'm guessing they don't occur on a set day each week, i'm guessing they're just done at random, which makes it hard for us, as we could make the journey to stoke several times only to find nothing on arrival. If you know of a definite attack then let us know.
In response to JDMF though, how many anti fascists do you know in manchester? we're trying to set antifa up round the manchester area, but so far we're getting little feedback. we desperately need a boost in numbers as there's several events looming on the horizon.

so is it defo on for stoke, im in sheffield at mo but if its on i'll try and get down, if someone could let me know by tonight that would help, tomorrow will be too late for me to get down unless i know by tonight, if its on someone let me know on here and drop me an email with someones number or the meeting point.
i also hope that there will be organised opposition to the NF's rally in oldham on the 27th of october, lets get a bit more organised on this one as train tickets from sheffield aren't cheap, especially at short notice. all the best.

There was NF people there, and a small counter demo. The NF were basically just milling around, and the police told everyone to disperse.
So not a NF march or anything.
it would have been good to have more people because there was only about 20 there...

I used to do ANTIFAPLYMOUTH's myspace (until it got shut down). I was part of the under five's brigade of ANTIFAPLYMOUTH ( under 15 squad). so when I finish my exams and get a trade I want to get involved in the older Antifascist scene.
The Lancashire Anti-fascist Network has been operating for a few years. Nothing fancy mind, no web site just doing what we can. We've asked about other people contacting us before to build up a network of bands to play gigs and not got much back but we're managing to get a few together in the NW region anyway.
