C'mon ya lucky guys and gals, its army recruitment time GMEX

Skillcity Northwest, massive careers show is at GMEX. The army will be there recruiting in all areas

8th to 11th December, 2004.

We can offer you a go in the Small Arms Trainer, "a laser simulator which the army uses to train all soldiers in marksmanship. It comprises a modified version of the SA80 rifle, a computer and a video screen. It is a valuable tool in training soldiers as it is able to show faults in shooting technique enabling you to fire at moving targets".

Y'all ready for this?

If you're hard enough to join the army, Skillcity Northwest is a free show. No ticket requred. Interested people come along on 8th Dec 10am-4pm, 9th Dec 10am-7pm, 10th Dec 10am - 4pm or Sat 11th Dec 10am - 4pm.

yeah think so.

the chortonville branch of zapatista went down today and got moved about by the police and gave out leaflets and spoke to people some of which were children and some of which weren't cos they were careers teachers or not even careers teachers and it was so great or so they said in there comunique. A new world grows in there hearts and by saturday it'll be as big as kent and lucy says there's guns

the zapatistas are there at 11am every day including (and especially saturday). capt mission says it will neither be less busy or more busy or as busy but different. he also says evryone shut up.

em.... there are big guns and coachloads of schoolkids rolling up everyday . and GMEX owns the land up to the pavement apparently and i'm bored now so i'm not saying anymore.

lucy thniks shes steve wallis, steve wallis thinks hes champion the wonder horse, i think i'm all that bi-atch

duck hunt ain't for toffs ya toff, its working class culture at its best- morimoto's subverting capitlalist corporations to train the masses to be sharp shoters for the workers malitias.

breaking news

chortlonville zapatistas try to over throw the army with the power of words! the zapatistas grand matriach invented power words to be place on a board to confuse the army in gramotological hell. But they were stolen by word thieves. Support the right to make words! The police have now banned any words entering manchester between sunrise and sun down on the weekends.

As requested by knightrose, a sane post.

Today we went to GMEX. There were a few families about but not as many as had been going to the Skillsfair over the last few days, when children were being bussed in from schools. People have been there every morning since Wednesday and have had army men coming over and saying they want to leave as well as embarrassed school teachers and some aggro from police. Today, we spoke to a few people and the army who had a display of guns on a "try your weapon" target range outside a tent at the bottom of the steps.

We then went into GMEX to try their high-tech video game to learn to shoot moving targets, but security stopped us and escorted us off the premises, (into the road) because they own everything including the pavement apparently. They expressed concern over our health and safety as we were standing in the road. The army, meanwhile, realised the coaches of schoolkids were not going to turn up today, so packed up their stall outside and went home. So a couple of us went to support the right to protest in the peace gardens with the few other people who turned up. And then, after other minor adventures, went home.

Similar scenario for us. We turned up at 12 and started leaflettting the one or two people who turned up. We were quickly pounced on by security (slight exaggeration there) who told us we had to stand on the other side of the road. Carried on leafletting till 1.15 then got bored as nobody much was turning up.

A bunch of people from Wrexham then showed up and went inside with their leaflets.

It's nice to know that they got picketted by so many different groups. Must have really pissed them off and convinced them there's a huge conspiracy.

shush, there was..... it was an undercover mission as instructed from our experienced activist top brass who are apparently training protesters at top secret camps to target Gleneagles http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2004/12/302677.html

black bloc

nice that Wrexham people turned up though. wish i'd met them.
