Last night went well in Lancaster. Excellent sets by the bands and a good atmosphere. It's looking good for Monday night with the now confirmed Instant Agony, Eastfield, Confontation, St Elmos and the Begley Sisters. maybe a surprise guest! also good food and a D.J.

The Burnley Anarchists held a large stall at the May Day Event at Towneley Park Burnley on 2nd May...

Lots of Anti-racist football posters and memorabilia, anarchist pamphlets and books were sold, and members of the public took away information sheets about the Anarchist Origins of May Day and flyers for the Burnley Voice Meetings and Web Forum...there were many enquiries as to the nature of the meetings, which we advised were an opportunity for local groups in the community to attempt to make changes by taking direct action rather than following a political party...the message was generally well received. The group will be meeting as normal on Wednesday at 7.30....
