had an email saying people in Liverpool are wondering if we'd like to do the picket again at the same time as their next one. Anyone interested? I'm not going to put up details cause the Liverpool people might not want date advertised. anyone interested pm me or ring, email or something

Liverpool comms have made the date public on various lists:

Quote:

liverpool social forum are organising another demo 12noon friday 16 sept blue

arrow offices castle st liverpool and are calling for support from trade

unionists and activists

it would be nice if there where actions at other offices of blue arrow on

the same day

I'll be there, though i am coming straight from a meeting at work and might be a bit late.

Sadly the Knightrose family are unavailable. Me and Ms Knightrose are both at work in Oldham and so can't make it. Knightrose jnr is at college, I think, also in Oldham. I'll ask him if he's free. If he is, I'm sure he'll come. However, I'm pretty sure that the Manchester anarchist libcommers can manage without us sad

Last time you were the Leaflet Reproduction Delegate, who could print a bunch of them? I liked the one we distributed last, so could just copy that again?

Why don't you dress up as a giant 'nob'. I have a large pink plastic bag if you'd like to borrow it, plus some large long pink giant balloons left over from one of our May day East Lancs Lets stands - you're very welcome.

I have a pump as well ............ eek

Done!

Yeah, lets get proper photos this time - what are we doing with them photos anyway grin

Also, is anyone who knows the situation inside out coming as well? I would not feel comfortable ending up to a lenghty discussion with someone about this conflict...

why thank you refused wink smile

i've never seen the point of blurring out faces on photos of demos except that people have a go at you if you don't . i mean there you are, in front of the police with their video cameras for about three hours on average on a demo (even the most astute hoodpullingup will fail) so whats the point? or if they could really be arsed finding out what earth shattering things are happening at your average bannerholdings it wouldn't be that difficult to just turn up to a meeting. its not really changing the universe or that threatening however we might choose to perceive our own actions.

might as well wave. and does it matter anyway? its not as if your doing anything remotely illegal. different if youve already got history with the police, or your intending to get it soon, then its sensible.
