Loyalist march?

I was in albert square yesterday sitting enjoying the sun when i heard a lot of drums and whistles.. "this sounds dodgy" i said to my wife and lo and behold about 4 loyalist flute bands on parade! Two belfast bands but did not get where the others were from,ne bunch in black combats,boots,red berets and red hand patches.. does anyone have any infor about why this bunch were in town?
