The next meeting of Manchester Anarchist Federation is Monday 17th March. We're bringing back the idea of having some time put aside for political discussion. This time we're going to be talking about Crime. The venue is in central Manchester. If you'd like to come along, please drop us a note to meetings@af-north.org. We'll be starting at 7.30pm.
we haven't been advertising the venue for a while, since our "problems" last year. It's obviously an open meeting, we just ask people to contact us first before coming.
On Wednesday, July 2nd at the Bellville Magistrates Court courtroom E, two members of the Delft Anti-Eviction Campaign, Jerome Daniels and Ridwaan Isaacs, were each sentenced twelve months in prison - simply for being community leaders at Delft-Symphony Way settlement.
The story of the (ultimately unsuccessful) struggle to keep a hospital open despite the efforts of the government, the Area Health Authority, management, University College London and the Wellcome Foundation and Trust.
