MMU student mag also had an editorial against the strike and industrial action a while back. What they dont understand is that while university management look like they are not active part in this dispute, and AUT/NATFHE are the ones rattling the cages, the employers organisation has been actively preventing a solution in this.

I think the unions should have seen this coming. Flat out strike would have worked much better from the start without really hurting students.

i read some of the comments though and a lot support the strike which cheers me a little. maybe you could write something jdmf/kidda along the lines of what jdmf said and give it to students? or is that a silly idea. sorry if it is. i'm a believer in the power of words. smile
