Both Manchester and Sheffield AF have produced some groovy new stickers. They can be seen on www.af-north.org and http://afed.org.uk/images/sheffield_stickers.jpg. Contact us via the websites for a bundle - though we would like donations smile

Some of these seem a bit silly....and alienating to people looking to make serious political decisions.

Look, red and black stickers with the name of your organization is cool and all but this is just class war grade stuff but with a little more effort and better politics.

But can't you see how these will connect with the disaffected youth?

grin

Yeah, hmmm I think these stickers are trying to do what CW do...

The "only anarchists are pretty" one is particularly bizarre, and factually incorrect.

I see the use of the red & black background as a positive sign that the AF is being slowly won over to anarcho-syndicalism. cool

The first batch you posted range from counter-productive to harmless to the point of not being worth printing. The others are better.

The RAF one on the AF-North page links to the ourblood sticker when you click on it. So does too many politicians.

We are against democracy, if people mean what passes for it today.

The slogan is simple, though. It's not only terrorists that kill people. It'd ment to make people stop and think.

what does that last one mean? - it seems to suggest being bombed, but those being bombed aren't in the RAF. or is it a parody of the army recruitment ads for chefs, mechanics etc? (in which case the graphic is confusing). or i'm being dim tongue

Yea, it's a parody of the RAF recruitment ads. And come on, it can't be that confusing - planes = RAF.

fair enough, just didn't read it that way.

btw that looks like a F4 Phantom which hasn't been in RAF service since the 70s wink

No. We used the slogan quite deliberately. The state constantly talks about the reason for war being to fight for "democracy". Democracy is the system the bourgoisie use to rule us.
The slogan doesn't say we hate democracy. It says that democratic bullets kill.

I'll repeat what I said. It doesn't say we hate democracy. It says that democratic bullets kill too. Isn't that obvious?

These stickers seem to be designed to appeal to immature adolescents. Another point. If you have to explain what stickers mean then they ain't any good.
