Just for general info, ignore if not helpful. There wasa LETS scheme in Norwich that was based at The Greenhouse, afaik it's still going.
campaign ideas
hmm. interesting. how extensive was/is it? evidently not too well publicised...
Don't know too much, I just picked up a leaflet from The Greenhouse one day when I had the crazy notion that I might either have a useful skill that I could offer society, or need other peoples useful skills in exchange, neither of which was true.
You can contact Freecycle here to find out more http://uk.freecycle.org/groups/norfolk/links-misc.html or pick up an application form at The Greenhouse, if it's still based there, their website is http://www.greenhousetrust.co.uk/ and their email is info@greenhousetrust.co.uk or maybe approach LETS directly at http://www.letslinkuk.org/ where there's an enquiry form to find out about your local group, the Norwich site is http://www.norlets.org.uk but doesn't seem to work

so we were talking generally about where to go in terms of campaigns. i dont know if its a good idea to put just an open thread up on the forum, cos we'll probably just generate a shitload of ideas without taking them anywhere; but meh.
1. more end fuel poverty stuff. info? action?
2. set up official LETS-style skillsharing/ service sharing network.
3. more unionising stuff! like distroing stuff your boss leaflets, trying to work with disident NHS workers?
ideas?
