NAS: Debating Society

Precis: Debating society have challenged NAS to a debate.

The guy that used to run the debating society (Jack) was a green party guy but was sympathetic to anarchism. I'm not sure who will be running it now.

They do training sessions and are pretty good at debating: however I don't think that means NAS shouldn't debate them. As a movement we need good speakers, people that can defend anarchism on their feet. I wouldn't back down for fear of it being done "hierarchically". In my experience of debating society, they're formal debates, and generally pretty friendly.

I wouldn't recommend waltzing in there and doing it without preparation - your opponents certainly won't be.
