One of our members in SLSF is an ex-ASF member. They're coming over for the IWA congress.

These may be the same guys that run http://www.anarchosyndicalism.net/ but I'm not sure. I know that the Aussie ASF's office was in the same building that the Melbourne Anarchist Club used, as I've seen it.

I know one or two Australian members but don't think they're on here

http://anarchosyndicalism.net is maintained by an ex-ASF member. The ASF is still lurking around dirty ol' Melbourne town, apparently -- one member took part in a workshop at the LASN conference in October -- and will no doubt finish 'resting' soon...

Actually, this site is now maintained by a collective of global anarcho-syndicalists. Ben from Australia is on this collective.

Did anyone from the Australian ASF come over for the Congress? I hear that they been relegated to second-tier "friends" status again. even tho they continue to request full IWA status. any more news?

My understanding is that the ASF did send a delegate to the Manchester Congress, and that you're correct: as of the XXIII Congress, it is a 'Friend' of the IWA.
