The Aotearoa Workers Solidarity Movement invites everyone to a public talk by a vastly experienced British anarchist (currently living in the USA).

Barry Pateman is one of the editors of the Emma Goldman Papers, a curator of the Kate Sharpley Library (one of the largest anarchist libraries in the world). He is also editor of the book 'Chomsky on Anarchism' and was a co-founder of AK Press.

This Sunday (May 24th), 7pm onwards at the 128 activist community centre. Tea/Coffee provided. 128 Abel Smith St, Te Aro, Wellington.

Barry is briefly in New Zealand, and will give a talk on class, anarchist history and his experience working on the Emma Goldman Papers Project.

You can see a brief interview with Barry taken at the San Francisco Anarchist Bookfair at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5WcsS8JRpo

All welcome - spread the word!

Greetings to Barry who is an excellent comrade of long standing and it's a pity there aren't more comrades like him!

Barry actually introduced one of the AWSM members to anarchism back when he was his teacher - I've heard lots of good stuff so am very much looking forward to meeting him smile

Barry is one of the most personable and affable anarchists ever. Just don't set a glass of water in front of him.
