Anyone been on Probation?
Well, I was given probation, a 12 month supervision order, no unpaid work. Which though it will no doubt be a pain in the arse, is rpobably a good result for twatting a copper.
So any advice on making the whole thing as short as possible?
Thankfully, I'm mentally divergent, which always gives me a bit of an excuse, but what can be deemed 'non-compliancde' ?
Personally, I've been nicked quite a few times with no further action taken at various points, and have had policemen telephone me on at least 2 occassions on what I would presume would have been attempts to get me to admit a telephone call that would have amounted to harrassment. Will the Pigs get in touch with probation over such slights if they know youre on it? Can that be deemed non-compliance?
couldn't leave the county without permission
wow - the county?
Its was a shitty couple months.
I've been on reprobation for quite a while...
whats that?
A joke:
reprobate
n.
1. A morally unprincipled person.
2. One who is predestined to damnation.
wow - the county?
Actually, this made me dig through the old crime files and it turns out I just had to give notice and they couldn't exactly deny me...
Oops, just trying to beef up of internet persona a bit too much.
I had an assault charged dismissed under the Probation Act. I think its called an Unconditional Discharge in Britain. It still goes down on a register though so it would be brought to the judges attention if you were charged again.
It was a funny case, the guy I assaulted (he hadn't been charged with anything) was committed to custody for a week for psychiatric observation!
My solicitor was Michael Farrell, former leader of Peoples Democracy, hes now more into human rights. Hey, its one thing getting your client off but getting the assaultee committed to custody is worthy of Clarence Darrow.

Damn! I have needed that guy a couple of times. You're lucky.
On two different occasions,
Once I was banned from Quebec city for a year,
The next time i couldn't be in Montreal public parks without a soccer ball( was on the winning team of the adult education city championships, needed to practice...)
Don't put anything past the pigs or their "administration arm" when it comes to violating your rights; it's their word against yours.
Not only do I have experience in the world of probation (a combined total of 11 years) I am also familiar with the prison system both in the USA, England and Mexico for a combined total of more than 4 years inside and another 5 on "parole" (another word for "free" but without any actual rights).
The fact is that once they get you the first time, you will never live it down; you will always be "marked" by the state.
Especially if any of your time was politically motivated.
From my experience it's better not to try to understand their "laws" because they will simply change them as they see fit.
The probation department and their hired SS goons will never have your "best interests" in mind when they think you "fit the description of" - bullies don't care about anything but exerting their "authority"; violently if necessary.
Fuck them all.

I know it might jab alittle at the ol' ego, but if you want it to be short as possible you simply must comply and not fuck it up with any non-sence. I've never had the pleasure to be on proper probation before, but have been through the "pre-trial" hoop. Its basically probation without a conviction. I plead innocent and asked to post bail, was denied and instead told I would just have to be on pre-trial. It basically means you have a probation officer you check with twice a week (piss tests, and drunk tests) and couldn't leave the county without permission, and simply couldn't leave the state. Thankfully, jumping through all the hoops without giving them any trouble paid off when my trial date came around and they dropped charges for lack of evidence.
If these things happened before you got on probation I can't imagine they could be deemed non-compliance.
