Back to Work meeting: what can I expect?

Alright all, I've just got this letter saying I've got a 'Back to Work' meeting tomorrow (it was sent to me about ten days ago but I only just saw it last night) and I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what to expect..

Last time I signed on for a while I think I had one of these (my memory is hazy as that was about six years ago) and the guy was really rude (I mean, ruder than most Job Centre staff to the point where I thought it was tactical rather than just being stress-induced) but I can't remember if he tried to make me take a shite job or not coz I left London not long after..

So yeah, what is a back to work meeting? Is there something in particular I need to watch out for?

i think they will just discuss with you what work you're looking for, what barriers are in the way of you getting this work, and what the jobcentre can do to help get past these barriers.

i dont know, i've had so many meetings with them i forget what they all are. it'll mostly be a waste of everybody's time though, that i can almost guarantee.

have to say, i'm worrying a little about what changes the tories are going to make to benefit entitlement, particularly jobseekers. i'm likely to be out of a job in a couple months and am not looking forward to signing back on

it's hard to see how they could make things any more fucked up but rest assured they will be paying their think tanks overtime to come up with a way.

My best guess is that it'll be based around forcing more claimants to contribute to The Big Society through an increase in work for your benefits, compulsory 'volunteering' type schemes.

Possibly whilst wearing an orange boiler suit bearing the slogan "I'm unwilling to work".
