Bus strike in Iran

I've just posted this up on Indymedia -- https://publish.indymedia.org.uk/en/2006/01/332585.html

looks like they're getting attacked by the police force quite hard.

I got this info in an email via the worker-communist party of Iran, who are a secular socialist group.

What can't you see? The link works for me.

This email is the first I've heard about the dispute on the busses. What's the background, before the events of 28th Jan?

a dialogue box comes up claiming that the link links to a fake site, or something.

There was a fare strike which we covered a week or two ago - union leader was arrested during that. It seems like that's galvanised the strikers to do a second bigger strike + protest on the 28th. The WCPI's site - I couldn't even find the appeal, so not sure where else to look to be honest, everything useful we've found has been included on the /news articles.
