Does Anybody Speak Farsi?
We are a small newly formed left communist group based in Ankara, and will in the near future be publishing a magazine. We also intend to have a website with the magazine (which will of course be in Turkish) available in Turkish, and also English, and Arabic. We would like to be able to do it in Farsi too. I know from when I lived in London that there used to be a lot of Iranian left communists about.
So if anybody can speak Farsi, and would like to translate any entire magazine, please get in touch.
My Farsi is limited to 'khoobi' and 'merci' so I wouldn't be much help...
There was a bloke who translated stuff like "on the poverty of student life" into Farsi under the name of Melancholic Troglodytes. No idea if he would be interested but I could try and dig out a contact if you like?
I know someone who can speak Farsi but translating a whole magazine is asking a lot of people..
maybe she might translate an article or something? I could ask her if thats any help.
Thanks for the offer, but we realize a whole magazine is a lot of work. We know some people who speak Farsi, but we were looking for someone who was into the idea of a group. There used to be a lot of Iranian left communists in London. Maybe they all got into so-called 'Worker Communism'. I think we might have found someone who can do it here.

Sorry I can't help you, I know there is/was an american iranian group - interview with them + NEFAC here.
But good luck, and look forward to seeing it!
