Flyers for a Really Really Free Market

Hello everybody. My friend and I have recently decided to do a 'Really Really Free Market'. For those of you who do not know what that is, it is essentially an event where you bring things that you don't really want any more but are still useful, leave them out on a blanket and then wander around to see if anyone else has anything you want. It's essentially like a swap meet without the actual trading, the idea being to show capitalism is not necessary in our society.

Anyways, I've been tasked with creating flyers for the event to hang around town and at our school etc. I was wondering if any of you had any simple, cheap to print flyer ideas that would inform the people of what exactly the event is, give out basic info as to when or where, and of course maintain their interest.

I have a few ideas but a lot of them seem rather- wordy I guess is the term I'm looking for. So just was wondering if any of you had ideas.

Also thoughts on the Really Really Free Market Idea and suggestions about that are also appreciated.

Why do an anarcho-charity project when you could be doing something else? While less labor intensive than you-call-that-food?-not-bombs the really really free market still isn't anything most people would waste a day off on. Why not give your extra stuff to people on your street? Its a great way of getting to know your neighbors and you don't have to haul all your stuff to a really really free market. And if you want to turn more people on to anti-capitalism then try organizing in your workplace and community. The really really free market doesn't even sound anti-capitalist, it sounds like its saying "this is how awesome markets would be if ron paul was our king."

While that last line is quite funny--and I share your critique--I got into the anarchy through things like FNB and I think a gentle nudge towards class struggle activity is the best way to bring folks around.

If people want to do a really, really free market, fine. In my experience, folks sort of move on from this sort of activity on their own accord, especially once the reality of rent and wage labour sets in.

Yeah, I know my comment sounds shitty, but I guess I'm just really really frustrated with this kind of stuff where I live and have been for a while. Can't we just grab the new ones and show them whats up right away so they don't have to go through a phase of FNB?
