Anyone know specific details? Sounds like a significant victory, but that's mostly coming from the unions and usual leftists who are quick to proclaim anything as winning. However, in this case seems justified. Most people not getting pay cuts (£500 loss the biggest loser, lots going up), but looks like some extra hours and Sunday working - this seems more like the council trying to save face than a real sell out.
Interesting it comes so soon after Brighton cityclean workers battered the council in a similar dispute, hopefully a good sign for the future!
