Hello everybody, I'm Enrique, a member of the spanish CNT.

I post this thread so as to ask for information about the strike that's about to take place at the airports of Gatwick and Stansted, in London. The thing is that I work myself as a baggage handler for one of the companies involved, so it would be strongly interesting for me to contact the workers that will set to strike on Monday, to see if it's possible to establish some kind of bonds with them, and to keep in touch for the future. If anyone can help me, handing in any way to send them a message, or to phone them, or something of the like, I'd be very grateful. Apart from that, does anybody know if any SolFed militants are involved in some way in this conflict? If so, I'd also like to know, if possible.

Thanks in advance for any answers you may give me.

Greetings.

I'm pretty sure no one in SolFed is involved - I'm sure I would have heard if one of them was a baggage handler.

The only way I could think of to get in touch with them would be to contact their union, Unite. You should be able to contact stewards at least...

Actually the strike has been called off, I'm not sure of the details of it yet, hopefully the employers have caved in.

Good luck making contact though!
