Travelling to I07 from England.

I'm thinking of getting the coach departing at 1500 Friday 27/4 from Manchester (changing London) which will arrive in Paris at 0645 Sat 28/4. The return journey I'm thinking of booking is departing Paris at 2300 on Tuesday 1/5 which arrives back into Manchester at 1320 on Wednesday 2/5. Cost is £52.

How and when are other people thinking of travelling? Can we arrange to travel together? I'm happy to travel at other times to facilitate this?

Dave.

OMG! You are so organised!! Sadly i cannot come to this - if i go anywhere that w/e health and finances permitting, like Knightrose, it will be to the AFed conference!! But just to say if i were going i would def. hook up with you! Most peeps on here are rubbish at making practical arrangements but you are soooo good! Dates, times and prices - fab! ha! A man after my own heart! wink Have a great trip - just bear in mind most people you will be liaising with are not likely to be as organised as you - you should be so lucky! tongue

The eurostar is like 59£ return right? Why not just get a coach to London and do that. Unless you really like coach travel i guess wink

Eurostar is awesome but coach is a lot cheaper.
I can show people around a bit too if needed.

I can take you to Paris' equivalent of The Foundry. Which will prove once and for all that Paris is better than London.

I'll be in town for a few days before and after the conference also.
Do you have any good tips about stuff to do and (alternative) places to see?

If anyone wants to stay with comrades from the CNT-F, they should register at http://www.redblack.org/registration/registration.php before April 10th.

I07 is an international syndicalist conference that will be held in the end of April in Paris.
There is a website about it here: http://www.cnt-f.org/spip.php?rubrique34

Not paticularly, I know a few nice bars and I can probably hook us up with some free stuff to do. As regards alternative stuff I've not really got any ideas, I haven't really got in touch with any french anarchists.

I've just registered with the CNT to attend. Have other people registered (WeTheYouth...)? It will make life easier for the CNT.

Respect,

Dave.

right well i'm definitely going now, think gav is too.

er dunno about travel yet... eurostar would be nice but think might have to stick with the cheaper coach option

as for paris, there's a bunch of anarchist shit there, near the vignoles office there's some street with like 2 anarchist bookshops on...
