I don't want to comment on anything being said on the other thread (198os), other than to say I truly liked Leo. Of all the many comrades I've met over the years, Leo was always one of my favorite (said with watery eyes).
When Leo came to NY he stayed with me. In 1986 we had a ball at the Chigcao Haymarket Centenuary.
I will say that I still get a good laugh at recalling how Leo was amazed by American TV. I remmebring leaving him with my father and like two kids they were watching all these silly US shows.
I'll end with a Leoism: "I'm like a bad penny, I keep popping up". Indeed comrade, indeed.
