Supersize My Pay: Young Workers Get Organised
Reception hosted by No Sweat and Battersea and Wandsworth TUC
Between 11 and 19 February, as part of the No Sweat week of action,
two activists with a great experience of young workers organising will
be touring the UK: Mike Treen from New Zealand and Axel Perrson from
France. (See below for details.)
On 15 February, London No Sweat and Battersea and Wandsworth Trades
Council will host a reception to welcome Mike and Axel to the UK.
6pm, Friday 15 February: the Bread & Roses pub, 68a Clapham Manor

Mike Treen, an activist with the Unite union whose Supersize My Pay
campaign has organised thousands of young fast food workers in New
Zealand, and French fast food worker and CGT union activist Axel
Perrson will be speaking in towns including Oxford, Brighton, Norwich,
Cambridge, Hull, Nottingham, Sheffield, London, Durham, Leeds and
Glasgow.
