Better late than never, comment so the new layout would be good...

I like the new lay out, bit of a pain in the neck reading the diary dates online smile I imagine it looks good in print though. Am hoping to visit taffy land soon(ish), I'll bring a couple of copies of Inc, the free paper from up here, for you.

Only looked at it for a second, not long enough to look at the content properly, but on the design: comic sans... why????!!!!!!????? Where I work, the use of comic sans is a sackable offence.

Because we don't really wanna do an anarcho newsletter, we wanna do comic books, but none of us can draw. Also because 'design' students tell us we shouldn't.

Decent range of content, bit crowded onto the page though. Maybe consider using a larger format (a3 with folds? or whatever u fancy) and use a grid & rulers in whatever layout programme you're using.

So is the new PAD rented or what?

guydebordisdead: I work in a small print shop & double sided A3 is the biggest we can do, a few of the collective work here and we get it abit cheaper than it should be. It would be less crowded if we got it out more often, which is the aim...

welshboy: yeah The PAD's rented, I was against the whole rent thing, but I've got zero spare time to contribute anyway, still it's a nice space and it seems to be getting people excited, fuck knows how it'll manage long term though.

Good location for the PAD, better than last time. Did you hear about the old rising sun/harlequin burning down? I always thought that would make a good social centre for the 'port. See ya soon.

yeah went past the old rising sun the other day, blatant insurance job.

It's the PAD opening on Sunday if you fancy a 12 hour coach trip!

Bit skint at the moment, surprise surprise, but am lokking into getting cheap train tickets for a bit of a blat round the south, want to visit some mates round B-Right-On and in Bristle like. What's the score with the PAD? Is it going to be a caff type thing or more of an infoshop? I read the blurb but it was a bit vague.

It is abit vauge, bit of both I think, I'd like to see it more as an infoshop myself but....

Yeah but the caff can help pay the rent and also makes it more likely that folk will pop in if they can get a cheap cuppa and a bit of scran. The two can be merged quite well i think.

I like it. Though you could try re-mixing the intro, a bit less music and a bit more vocal.
You have no idea how nice it is to hear a 'port accent. smile

I think it's quite nice, I didn't 'mix' it myself like.

Dunno how to get it 'out there' more though really, anyone know how get it onto itunes podcasts etc??
