I’m interested in forming an on-line Capital reading/discussion group. My personal preference for that would be for something fairly intensive, something like reading a couple of chapters or a section a week. Like say Section 8 (primitive accumulation) for week one, the first three chapters of section one for week two, and so on. However if that doesn’t suit others time wise, which would be pretty understandable, we shall see about a different approach, and maybe take it one part a fortnight. I’d prefer to do this via e-mail than on a forum. Also interested in another group looking at other Marx/Engels texts, such as The Civil War in France, Engels' late letters on historical materialism, and the first part of the German Ideology, which would be more of a possibility if Capital was approached in a less intensive way.
On Wednesday, July 2nd at the Bellville Magistrates Court courtroom E, two members of the Delft Anti-Eviction Campaign, Jerome Daniels and Ridwaan Isaacs, were each sentenced twelve months in prison - simply for being community leaders at Delft-Symphony Way settlement.
This paper was written for and presented to the Conference on Pyotr Alexeevich Kropotkin organized by the Russian Academy of Science on the 150th anniversary of his birth.

Any takers?
