http://libcom.org/forums/theory/new-marxs-capital-vol-1-reading-group-11...
Anyone interested in reviving this group? I'd love to work through the book from the beginning with some fellow traveleres.
I'll, perhaps, post on this thread with my reflections on various chapter as I read. Johnbitz, if you feel so inclined, you can discuss your thoughts with me. To note, however, in reading the Communist Manifesto some time ago, I regarded it as trite salesman bs of a reactionary youth. It is my hope Capital is much better.
looks interesting, think I'll join this thread
Just FYI Stalinksi, the last post before you was from a year ago. Might not be much Capital reading group left.
oh well that's a shame, lol, but anyway , didn't think you guys like Marx anyhow, wasn't he a commie?
How long have you been here, Stalinsky? Have you really misjudged the politics of the site that badly? If anything, libcom is accused of being overly Marxist by some parts of the anarchist movement.
Also, libcom.
didn't think you guys like Marx anyhow, wasn't he a commie?
Yes, he was. Though it's a pity that contrary to him, Stalin was essentially a Proudhonist.
The guy is clearly a troll, will the admins please act accordingly?
well, i was a bit over ambitious, thats for sure. however ive posted my first thoughts on chapter one on the labour theory of value. ill post more later.
