I heard some thinker called Karl Marx was privately educated and, evil of evils, later went to university where he got a Phd. Because of this everything he ever wrote, said or lived must surely be worthless.

There was also some guy called George Orwell who went to boarding school. Clearly an agent of the capitalist class. Didn't he write a book called Homage to Catalonia that talked about how great Franco was?

And what was he doing before he went to the grammar school?

I am aware of the school he went to later, which is quite an interesting place as it got in trouble with the state of the time for providing a liberal education.

The point is that coming from a well-to-do background does not necessarily say anything about the validity of your theory and practice.
