On Wednesday, July 2nd at the Bellville Magistrates Court courtroom E, two members of the Delft Anti-Eviction Campaign, Jerome Daniels and Ridwaan Isaacs, were each sentenced twelve months in prison - simply for being community leaders at Delft-Symphony Way settlement.


The Leninist "substitution" of the party for the class is well known.
I have recently been thinking that a similar thing takes place in the theories of some syndicalists, with the "revolutionary union" takes the place of the "party" in the Leninist sense.
Are they're any good articles around examining this question? I guess it ties into theories of the general strike..
