Anarchist Perspectives on Venezuela

Does anyone know of any sites or blogs that analyze the situation in Venezuela from an anarchist perspective? I mean real analysis - not simply taking pot shots at Chavez for being a dictator after reading the opposition propaganda. There's lots of revolutionary stuff going on in that country right now, but I've found surprisingly little anarchist discussion or debate about it. Thanks.

Well, we had a news article submitted to the site called Workers struggle betrayed by State and union in Venezuela. That might interest you. We also had a discussion here a while back, you could read through that as well: 'Communal Councils' in Venezuala

Not read it yet but found I recently found this article on anarkismo.net: The Myth of 'Co-Management' in Venezuala. Looks pretty good and is written by a class struggle anarchist group in Venezuala (El Libertario).

All in all though, I've not managed to find much on it either (and we're certainly lacking content on it for libcom). If you find anything good then stick it here and we'll add it to the site! wink

EDIT: Just found the English version of the El Libertario site has been significantly revamped with loads of articles. Looks very interesting indeed. If you speak Spanish I imagine their site would be a goldmine.

I found this article from RAAN interesting.
