Mike Rooke's article

I take issue with the last sentence of Mike Rooke's article "Marxism is Dead-Long Live Marxism" where he says; "max's critique of value will finally come into its own as the results of human practice CATCH UP with theory."(my emphasis). Surely, theory arises as a result of practice?

There is a sense in which the full significance of Marx's critique of Value is more comprehensible in the development of modern global capitalism and more practicably applicable as a result of it.
