Two kids just came to my door. One dude and one girl and in five minutes of 'preventing aids' and 'instead of giving them a fish, teaching them how to fish' (I shit you not) she did not say one word which annoyed me more then this guy. Then they asked for my fucking credit card! Also the guy had those gloves with the fingers cut off so that just annoyed me more.
Anyway I think I may have been a little harsh with them and admitedly I don't know much about Oxfam. I was asking him how Oxfam is really going to stop poverty in Africa and the Phillipines this time around but all I got was the usual 'we believe all kids are entitled to an education' and 'we are going to teach the farmers how to fish'. Anyone feel like giving me their opinion about Oxfam from an anarchist perspective I guess. I think I can still catch them.

I did that job for a week or so until they sacked me for being a negative influence or something. Basically it's actually worth speaking to those guys about politics because their boss will see them talking to people which looks good for them, and they don't have to sell you shit. After a while they have to give you up but you have a captive audience, largely from a younger and generally receptive group of people. Talking to chuggers, that try and stop you, about socialism is generally a good idea. If you can give folks an idea that they will then look up or remember... Well it's as good a post modern soap box as you're going to get basically.
