hi i know that as anarchists/libertarian communists we see reform as as a way of placating the masses from taking action, but is there any reform, that in the last 50yrs,has had anarchist approval??
Hi odd. I'll think you'll find that reforms that benefit the class as a whole are generally supported, eg. I would assume a vast majority here would support wage increases, or any other reforms concerning working conditions. Fighting for such things obviously improves our quality of life and can galvanise people into acting in solidarity and heighten class concsioussness.
Differences of opinion occur when the nature of the reform is more debatable. Then there will be debate over whether pursuing the said reform is pure reformism (and possibly have counter-productive elements for the class as a whole) or can form the basis of something bigger. For example a debatable question would be: should anarchists fight for free health care?
