its way down on my list of things to read, but its still on there since we keep having these 'national liberation' debates tongue

i wonder if he says you can fight for a nation without a state?

I've read the first chapter, but he hasn't said anything about national liberation yet.

there's a podcast here where he talks about the book and presents the main arguments. It sounded interesting, but I have to admit I had quite a lot of difficulty following it (lots of factual details, but some of the stories are interesting) - but that might be because I was doing something else at the same time

is the one about the philipino anarchists and national liberationists?

i've read bits of it, it's not bad i suppose trying to blow someone up by putting nitroglycerine in their pomegranete was pretty smart

Not even in flighty, convoluted wanky academic speak?

If by flighty, convoluted wanky academic speak you mean talking about the first two philipino novels and their attitudes to homosexuality mixed in with a wee digression covering philipino anthropology then yes. Although the next chapter should be better, he talks about anarchist assasinations. roll eyes grin embarrassed
