What will happen to cuba when Fidel dies?

Something i was just wondering and really got no idea about, i have been in discussion about it with comunist friends, who say nothing will change, and if anything changes its because of presure by the world community. I think its all a bit dodgy and maybe some revolution could take place? No idea tho. what about You?

sid you mean communist with a big C mate?

I think i am the only person who considers this am convention. Albert Meltzer didn't.

What will happen; if there is no handover and the ciuntry does not have a charismatic leader by the time he dies, the US will first sponsor a movement to demand an election and then they will sponsor whichever candidate is closest to their interests and will do well. And they will win.

Before or after that, there may well be a civil war; again the US state will get involved or start it, and win.

The potential for a revolution to take place: high. But not a revolution in the leftist sense.
