the big bang gave it a good go though, but stumbled on the infamous second album, so yeah downhill on originality since the debut really.

We think too small, like the frog at the bottom of the well. He thinks the sky is only as big as the top of the well. If he surfaced, he would have an entirely different view.

I kinda thought "the workers want meat" was rather funny in its context, coming from a member of the IWW in Chicago (courier) at a meeting where the hosts served vegan fare (which I liked just fine). But I also like "Don't moan, organize!" -- a takeoff on the Joe Hill oft-paraphrased quote. I first saw that quote in the Industrial Worker sometime last year from the Bay Area GMB.

Chuck, I'd be glad to help you out of the well. wink

Instead of the conservative motto, "A fair day's wage for a fair day's work," we must inscribe on our banner the revolutionary watchword, "Abolition of the wage system."

they also said it would be better to kill 10 innocent men than let one guilty man go free (which Mao had said before them)... there are a lot of amazing Khmer Rouge quotes! I'll try and find some.
