Workers' Self-management viability

I am making a website which collects various pieces of evidence of the viability of worker self-management (along with links to related topics) to help people with arguments about the subject. If anyone knows of any articles about worker cooperatives, or how such economies operated in historical circumstances i.e. spain, yugoslavia etc., it would be great if you could post the URL to make this a really good resource.

Can I ask what the website is?

We've tried to do that here, we'd obviously like people to submit more examples to us. It'd be shame for there to be even more duplication across anarchist websites (loads of small rubbish ones instead of a few big ones), but hey good luck. We are trying to collect such material about self-management and workers' control working in our workers control tag here:
http://libcom.org/tags/workers-control

It'd be cool if anything you did put on your site you could submit to ours as well, and of course you're welcome to use our articles.

This is something I read some time ago. Can't really remember the contents, but it is about Yugoslavian worker self-management.

I would be happy to submit the stuff to libcom library rather than do my own website. But a lot of it is links to articles on other websites, which I don't know if I could submit to libcom without the authors permission. Is it possible to put links to other websites in the tag?

Hmmm well you could do basically an article on it, and the article contains loads of links and we stick that in the tag, with any other articles that we get permission for. But generally we try to keep as much stuff as possible internal, because lots of anarchist sites just die or change so links stop working. If the articles are by anarchists or socialists - or academics - they're usually okay with stuff being hosted elsewhere if it's credited, but up to you...

Should I check with the authors first, or just do put the stuff up, and thne it can be taken down if they complain?

That's generally what we do yes. Any you particularly like the authors and worry you might upset them you could always email them to let them know.

In the articles authors should be credited with their names in italics at the bottom, and if more than one article per author is going up then they should be credited in the Authors/people/groups box as well so they get one of these:
