Richard Barnbrook, one of 11 BNP winners in Barking and Dagenham has an artistic past, of which he seems to be ashamed. The BNP manifesto offered the choice to "prohibit the teaching of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle choice". However the film Mr Barnbrook made offered a different viewpoint. HMS Discovery: A Love Story, is said to include naked men clawing passionately at each other's bodies. Mr Barnbrook said: "It is not about homosexuality - it's about sexuality."

Whilst more believable than the ludicrous story that Nick Griffin and Martin Webster once had an affair (copyright G Gable and M Webster) if it was going to get anywhere, it would have done so a year ago.
