ARS (russian) affiliate in the UK, looking for comrades

Hello
I am a sympathiser and affiliant of the Alliance of Revolutionary Socialists (ARS) from Russia, and currently residing in the UK.
I believe this organisation is known here; http://libcom.org/forums/announcements/russia-revolutionary-greetings-03032009
I am looking to create ties and affiliating with (left)-communist/socialist/anarchist people and organisations in England and UK.
Unfourtinately, due to being piss-poor, I am restricted in travelling; so I am looking at the Stevenage-London area as this is where I am located. Also the Aberdeen area in Scotland as this is where I will be soon.
Any info or contacts will be appreciated!

Hi there, and welcome to libcom!
Well here is a good place to talk to a wide variety of those sorts of people.
In terms of meeting up with real people, I would recommend sending a message to one of the national federations, such as the anarchist Federation or Solidarity Federation.
I hope you stick around to take part in some of the discussions here - a Russian anarchist/etc perspective would be appreciated!

I'll send you a message, but I believe that ARS has been in touch with our group, The Commune - http://thecommune.wordpress.com/ - through a comrade who visits Kyiv regularly.
Though I think we probably differ on a fe points, we'd be interested to meet up and talk ideas and organising.

We don't have members now in Kyiv, we had one in Odessa and two in Chernigov (thats all are towns in Ukraine), but they (pity!) "went right" (closer to trots in different questions), so we have no one now in Ukraine.
So, i don't know what r u speaking about. I will ask cmdes, anyway.

I don't think we have a group in Aberdeen but it you contact Glasgow afed they would know.

Jamao - maybe they met them at a conference or something, I'm not sure. Perhaps I can PM you the initials of the people we're in touch with, if that would help.

Perhaps I've misunderstood something.

In london theres all sorts but Anarchist Federation, Solidarity Federation, LCAP, IWW and The Commune would be your best bet in terms of coming to a few events or just meeting up for a drink.
Don;t know of anything active in stevenage itself, I think there might be a few people round luton way which might be a bit cheaper in terms of travel if theres a bus. Solfed has a member or two near luton anyways.
As for aberdeen I'm afraid i'm stumped on that one, but like another poster said there are probably people in glasgow or edinburgh you could email who'd know.

I don't know how restricted you are with travelling, or indeed when you're going to Scotland, but the Midlands Discussion Forum has irregular meetings in Leicester (which isn't so very far from Stevenage) and Birmingham. Our next meeting is in Birmingham on April 25th if you can make that.
There used to be a Socialist Forum in Northamptonshire, not sure whether it's still going though, if it is they seem to have moved from Libcom. It might be worth trying to find them though.

ICC comrades in London would be very happy to meet up for a discussion. We have been in contact with your comrades in Russia for some time and met them at various conferences in Russia. Send a PM to me or to the other ICC comrade who contacted you and we can arrange something.

the rest is a bit too far spread out for me 
and yes hopefuly I'll start participating on the forum at some point when I find the time! The only forum I find time for now is the politics forum
