The other day a new group was launched in Newcastle - Tyneside Solidarity Group. TSG has been formed by anarchists (including members of the Anarchist Federation, and Liberty and Solidarity), independent socialists, and trade union activists in order to work together in supporting people dealing with debt, bailiffs, and money lenders, we aim to go beyond what the established charities and legal advice centres can provide by using direct action and mutual aid.
TSG will be holding a public meeting and benefit gig soon to reveal more...

Who's being sarcastic? I think it's a really good step forward and the sort of thing that is missing in the north east. I'm hoping something like that could be spread to Sunderland.
