Fossil Fuels day

Submitted by buenaventura on 18 March, 2008 - 14:59.

Leamington Rising Tide have decided to tackle the planned development of Clarendon Arcade. The development will not only strike a blow against local traders and increase car journeys but will have irreversible consequences for the environment as increased consumption leads to increased emissions.

With this in mind we are planning a march in Leamington town centre to show that we reject the proposed Clarendon Arcade and the impact it will have on our town, our roads and the environment. There will also be a bike ride to accompany the march.

Where in Bath Place are you meeting?

We're meeting at bath place community venture, I guess we will be outside or in the main hall depending on how many of us/whats going on at the time, there will hopefully be a considerable crowd with banners and such so it will be easy to spot us.
