Apologies: L, I, K,C & R

Proposal that all comments be made through the chair was accepted, but in the light of the small attendance at the meeting this was not of immediate importance.

Treasurer's Report

- Funds currently stand at £20. With J leaving the money is being held by P to be passed to the new treasurer (L) as soon as possible.

Black Star No. 4

- D is currently short for time, so if any member can take on the responsibility of writing an article on the closures of Ryton & HP, including a critique of the unions (see below) then that would be greatly appreciated.

- by email, R proposed an article on Workplace Bullying'

Stalls

- Stall being held at the Leamington Peace Festival in tandem with Warwick Anarchists. J to travel to Leamington with literature.

- Suggestion that we take an inventory of stall material and literature possessed by members and distribute material so as to have maximum redundancy when running stalls in the case of members being unavailable.

- Could any member possessing electronic copies of the recent anti-recruitment leaflets please email F a copy (email to secretary to forward on if need be)

Ryton

- Postponed a decision on forming a working group pending clarification on what role it would play

- Agreement that we criticize trade union response to closure of Ryton.

No Borders

- There will be another joint No Borders/ARC picket of the Solihull Reporting Centre (on Homer Road), starting at approximately 12 noon on Friday June 29th (EDIT - as refuse orders so rightly points out, this is actually on Friday June 30th)

- Also, there is a No Borders benefit gig on the same day (Friday 30th) at the Spotted Dog in Digbeth from 8pm-2am, with various bands and djs)

AOB

- F proposed that WMA run a stall at a gig he is running & playing on the 9th of July - further details to come later.

Next Meeting

- June 30th at the usual place.

- We currently do not have a discussion topic, suggestions welcome.

Good point. I've edited the original post.
