is happening today (saturday 31st of january) at 11.30am, bull street. some of us are meeting at new street station at 11am. unfortunately the only group who managed to get their shit together enough to send us anything was class war, so if you don't like their style of propaganda... tough!
also, as no one else sent any articles for brum brum, it has been written by two people, so if you don't like it... tough shit! be more organised next time, it's not as if we haven't been planning this issue since october...

yep, up near virgin until 2 o'clock exactly when hunger became too much for us. where were you looking? bit if a crap place to be honest, as we didn't get any police attention i reckon we can risk trying near new street next time we're in brum city centre. however, the next stall will be on saturday the 21st of february in conventry city centre, unless cov people can't do that date. is this ok with everyone?

Valve is on the 20th so there is no chance of me being in any state to do a stall on the 21st
how did saturdays stall go?
some good connextions were made in london on saturday, we'll bring it up at the next meeting

If we have alot of people doing the stall say about six, why dont we do two? We coudl have three peopel of about in the westmidlands with a stall and maybe have some more in Brum, mayeb at a better place as you was suggesting GT? I think ive got another table we can use and we shouldnt be wasting a day with loads of us just around one stall really, anyway what do you all think?

can always do the next stall the weekend after...
for stalls not in birmingham city centre, i think the plan was to have two people at the stall, two people picketting a brighthouse and two picketting a wilkinsons, and then rotate it every hour or something so people don't get bored. but next time we do brum city centre then we could do two stalls like you said, which the animal rights people do. in fact we could maybe have our stalls near theirs as they tend to be quite good at grabbing people's attention...

when the old s26 collective used to do stalls on new street we never had much problem with the police.

Stall Report!!!!
Well in all fairness the stall on the 13th went well, we had a laugh and a communist and his puppets came along and had a go, but just went round in circles with their argument and guess what tried to sell us a paper, no theres somthing new 
they banged on about EZLN being capitalist gangsters with no real answer why they are capitalist gangsters not to mention their leader looked like lenin 
.
We didnt make much money if 60p is to go by but we had a fair deal of intrest from younger people than usual which is good.
It was a good stall and i think a constant presence in teh city centre is a worthy task, but i think we need to look at other places such as Cov? or maybe Sutton?

Yeh not this weekend tho cause ill scare them away after thursdays and fridays shananigans and i need some sanity for the custard factory on saturday, Bday aint it. The 27th and i promise that i will be at the stall and working my ass off, Detox & saving account starts monday morning!

FCP are awesome, they have lyrics like "i'm a coporate fuck and i really suck" and other such intelligent songs.
anyone else heard lolita storm? what the fuck are they about? i mean, i normally love bands that just make a load of random noise and scream alot, especially with female vocals, but that stuff just sounds weird. sounds like they're trying merge punk with drum n bass or something, then screaming at how rubbish it sounds.... maybe i should go home and do something constructive now...

what about asiandubfoundation? they combine punk and drum n bass (and hip hop, and bungra) it sounds awesome. i think lolita storm are just weird and shit. which is a shame because it's and awesome name.

so i take it the general answer is no then... diss, why don't you want to do a stall in cov, we're not going to do it where all the goths are because they're never interested anyway, except in stealing some stickers, and this is supposed to be a tour, which so far has gone to new street and no where else. surely coventry would be alot easier for you?
and asian dub foundation don't scream, although they do occassionally shout, and have very clear punk influences, which is what we were talking about, not goth or metal. goth and metal don't have random noise, and tend to roar rather than scream. weird riot grrrl and anarcho-punk like crass do have random noise and screaming, and sound nothing like goth/metal. not that it matters, lolita storm are still fucking crap....

No it wernt a no, if it was a no i would of said no and not that i would be lacking enthusiam. Like most weekedns i chose escaping from reallity cause its what i do best when im not at work. Everyone is gonna have different levles of commitment joel mate, get used too it.

Did anyone see the ISM action in brum yeasterday?
Was you there? i came up at 1 and no-one was around. What the hell happend? I saw the SWP and the animal rights stalls still around at nearly 3 pm, where was ours?
anyway if it did go off i hope it went well, whens next meeting?
