Sol-Fed is a revolutionary pollitical group. IWW is a revolutionary union.

IWW is not reformist. IWW is revolutionary.

not to be rude, but where are you from?

There is no longer an SF branch in birmingham which is a shame, but hopefully in the future there will be, the main difference is what x357997 said also in solfed we define ourselves as anarcho syndicalists which will hopefully grow into anarcho syndicalist unions like the spanish CNT, whilst the IWW is a catch all industrial union which is not specifically anarcho syndicalist.

I hope the IWW will create a branch in birmingham, as an SF member who will soon be back in brum, i would help them out to achieve setting up a branch. Also there is no reason why we cant have SF and IWW branches in the same city, its good for the movement to use a variety of methods and tactics, but for me SF has got the right strategy IMO for building revolutionary unions.

I have set up a blog, to keep track of syndicalist activities in birmingham

http://bsyndicalist.blogspot.com/

It will be updated alot more as soon as i am back in brum =D
