When you think "Is it all worth it?"...

What do you do/think of/read to up your hopes in Anarchism when the world around you seems stuck on unthinking unrepentant self-rape with statism and it seems that its too late to turn people on?

Im having a low-point in esteem for other people right now and could do with a boost.

Old anarchists rule, they're like what 100-yearolds with cigarettes and red meat suppers are to chainsmoking junkfood freaks... something to feel cool about turning into smile

The alienating aspects of capitalism always push me back into this no matter how alienated I get with anarchists. We might never win, but to bow your head and chew the cud at this stage would be soul destroying.

If not, sorry.

Take solace in the failure of other revolutionary groups?

I agree with GDID. I should be able to thrive under this system but I don't and what it offers me doesn't make me happy. I accept that anarchism/communism is unlikely to happen, but I don't really see a choice than to work towards it.

I am feeling like this too. Just been reading a story written in the 1930s where on eof the characters is talking about poverty, and saying "don't worry, it'lkl be alright when the revolution comes." 70 years later we are no closer.

guy is just on FIRE on this here thread today.

Btw that entire Jewish anarchist film is worth seeing...

Of course things are dispiriting..

But for as long as even one person keeps that revolutionary flame alive within them then there is hope - remember my very first tagline - "Let It Begin With Me". cool

I would diss WSM but then JoeBlack would show up to whinge about something in a minute before defending the small penis nationalism of Pol Pot and Johnny Adair.
