Calling all foot loose north american anarcho-syndicalists and class struggle anarchists, join the W.S.A.
The process for signing up is more or less as follows:
1. Read and agree with our political statement, "Where We Stand" http://workersolidarity.org/?page_id=78 and our Constitutionhttp://workersolidarity.org/?page_id=469
2. Be in contact and collaborate with WSA members (local group/members if one exists, regional delegate, corresponding secretary etc.) for at least 90 days prior to becoming a member
After that, if there no problems and you definitely want to sign up, then...
3. Pay dues
Arguably a fourth requirement would be general participation in discussions, local organizing (work with your local group/try to build a local group), internal education, etc., although this rather harder to formally or strictly enforce when it comes to our more isolated members.
Our dues policy is in the constitution, but here are the most important bits.
Article 5: Dues
Section 1. Members shall pay dues directly to the Treasurer.
Section 4. Dues shall be $18 per quarter for an employed person making the equivalent of at least $8 per hour for a full workweek but less than $12 per hour. Dues shall be $24 per quarter for an employed person making the equivalent of $12 or more per hour for a full workweek. Dues shall be $12 per quarter for an employed person making the equivalent of a full workweek paid at more than $5 per hour and less than $8 per hour. Dues for a full-time student or homemaker, a retired or unemployed person, or an employed person making the equivalent of under $5 per hour for a full workweek shall be $7 per quarter.
