The Wolverine - Gay Voices of Hostility

Online archive of The Wolverine, a class struggle anarcho-gay newsletter loosely connected to the London Autonomists/Monday Group - some members of whom were also involved in the early incarnation of Class War. Published in London in the early 1980s.

It is unclear how many issues were produced. Possibly three? If you know more - leave a comment...

I'd be interested to know what people think about it - very of its time but does paint quite a picture!

I'd actually been thinking that the title makes it sound quite contemporary, but maybe that's just down to every generation liking to think that they invented sex/gayness/insurrectionary anarchism. I mean, this is a relatively recent young person's meme, but it feels like it could fit straight into the pages of Wolverine. Reading some of the old 80s London Autonomist stuff has made me more confused than ever about what autonomism actually is, but then again maybe you can say that about any ideological label that gets popular enough.
