Despite rumors to the contrary, Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed continues, as provocative and exciting as ever. We have decided to stick with an annual publishing schedule for the time being. Our newest issue was designed by our friends at Eberhardt Press, released at the beginning of April, and we think you'll agree that it's our best-looking issue yet. Coinciding with the new issue, we have updated our web content; check the revamped site for interactive forums, monthly blogs, and media reviews.
We have new pamphlets for sale: “The Anarchist Beast,” “Debunking Democracy,” and two riot porn coloring books, “Meet the Crew,” and “Party at Occupy Oakland.” Subscription deals (including gift subscriptions) are available, and we still have a paperless option. Distribution help is always needed and appreciated, especially if you can get your local infoshop or university and/or municipal library to subscribe. We continue to offer t-shirts and books as subscription premiums, and they are also for sale on their own.
If you have a book, zine, or other media you'd like us to review, please send it along; we're committed to extending solidarity to other print projects. We are always interested in hearing from new reviewers, columnists, and essayists. The deadline for content is December 15.
Web content from the new issue includes the Editorial, Media Reviews, the review of a recent biography of Bakunin, and Uri Gordon's fascinating essay concerning the future of anarchist intervention, “Dark Tidings.”
