I'm thinking I'll lose. I can't be arsed to change it game by game so I had to get decent subs.

25 July, 2006 - 16:06

Strummerville United have returned.

Fantasy football? John White the Ghost, mate.

just trying out my attempted new slogan

13 August, 2006 - 19:59

opps, didn't work.

Perhaps this is a good place to say that, since no one answered my question, i.e. whether I am or am not the Jurgen Klinsmann of the communist left, I am now abandoning this signature, as soon as I work out how the editing process works.

Can anyone advise?

Well I saw you having a debate with Devrim and at no point did you dive to the floor, so I'd have to say that you're not the Klinsman of the net.
Apparently there may be a libcom kickabout either after the bookfair or the day after, so you could show your skills. And I'd like to to see if jaycee really has those silky brazillian skills he claimed or if his support of Brazil is really a form of sporting imperialism smile
Except I probably won't be at the bookfair sad

14 August, 2006 - 09:52

the only skills I could display without doing my dodgy knee even more damage would be a quick Klinsmann dive followed by removal to the touchline in agony. I live my football vicariously through jaycee, who is currently coaching kids in Costa Rica.
Why won't you be at the bookfair?

Because I'll have just moved to France and started my new job. I might come back for the weekend but it's not too likely.

19 August, 2006 - 10:54

hope you all got your teams in: 11:30 was the final chance to edit them. I got rid of Ashton and kept that traitor Queudrue.
One thing I was thinking, with the way fixtures work how will "rounds" work?
If a team in europe have no game then will the game that was postponed count for that round? if someone has a rescheduled game giving them two games in a week do you get extra points?

Also did you lot all pick only red and black for your team colours again?

Nope. Blue and White stripes all the way 8)

21 August, 2006 - 21:54

bollocks half my team are suspended, injured or inexplicably dropped before the second round, and you can only do one transfer without losing loads of points.

why the fuck have they suspended scholes & rooney until the 10th September for something that happened in a pre-season friendly? cocks

at least john terry is saving my ass, just like he did in the world cup. captain marvel cool

11 September, 2006 - 22:02

I own the libcom league cool

11 September, 2006 - 22:07

I don't think that this game is as good as the world cup one.
And the only Boro player who isn't on negative points is downing, and I was too skint to buy him sad

It's the same bloody game as the world cup one, it's just longer and so more difficult to win by fluke. I also like the bonus points system, so you get points when your players have played well even if they don't score or whatever.

I've got viduka and schwarzer and they're doing ok but i think i might have to sell the duke as for some reason they keep putting him on the subs bench, which is ridiculous for someone of his talents (and also a waste of 8 million in my team sad )

oh shit i've just noticed he's gone down to £7.9 millin. Should've got rid earlier!

Using facts? you fascist !
I'm just pissed off that I have Boateng and Christie weighing down my team.

12 September, 2006 - 17:36

Of course the main reason it is better than the world cup one is that I am winning cool
